Mac is WAYYY better for design work, and photo editing, and Ipod Iphone Ibook-air al kick ass, WE gonna need a new Ishelf LMAO. Mac OS X was designed for high security, so it isn’t plagued by constant attacks from viruses and malware like PCs. Macs actually start working within seconds of turning them on, while PCs throw up the thinking timer symbol for minute after frustrating minute. Macs, meanwhile, tend to be more popular among companies in creative fields. Macs don't have the problems that PCs have with viruses and worms, at least not yet. Macs come with all the hardware and software you're likely to need for most computing tasks "out of the box". Macs are due for a major system update, in late October 2007, from the current Tiger version to OS X 10. Macs do Windows too Windows users make up the largest slice of the personal computer market. Macs have viruses and spyware, yes, but the amount is miniscule compared to Windows. MAC is an addressing system that assigns a unique number to each and every network adapter.

 

Pcs

PCs are cheaper, not only initially, but also in the long term because they are upgradeable. PCs are familiar to many, software is easy to find, and are less expensive. We realize that "PC" stands for "Personal Computer" — which means that Macs are PCs. "Compatibility: While Macs tend to have a cult following, PCs are still the norm. So, when it comes to small business computers, do Macs or PCs come out ahead. Yes, PCs can be tweaked and tuned for high performance. The comments generally split into two camps:• People who have Windows PCs and wanted to commiserate. Anyway, I agree, a wide variety of systems should be taught, its a sad thing the only Macs left in the school are power PCs and those are in a multimedia class. I’ve used PCs for years, but I think MacBooks ($1,099) are adorable (I’m such a girl).

We're so focused on threats coming from the Internet that it's easy to forget the hazards closer to home. The best antivirus software, firewalls, and spyware scanners are worthless when someone violates a trusted relationship.
